CoilSafe® is a high-performance coil coating designed to restore and protect HVAC coils, helping your system run closer to its original factory efficiency—and use significantly less energy in the process.


Precision Performance
CoilSafe® wicks deep into the coil’s structure, bonding at a molecular level to every crack, crevice, and connection. It re-tightens the critical bond between the fin shoulder and copper tubing, restoring energy transfer and improving system performance as measured by kilowatts per ton (kW/ton).
Most importantly, our coating forms a permanent covalent bond, so it won’t flake, peel, or degrade—even in extreme conditions.
The Power of Thin
Unlike traditional organic coatings that are thick and inefficient, CoilSafe® is just 8-10 microns thick—about 40 times thinner than standard coatings. This ultra-thin layer doesn’t block airflow or heat transfer. Instead, it improves coil performance by targeting the key areas where efficiency is lost over time.

Inorganic & Antimicrobial
CoilSafe® is inorganic and antimicrobial by design. Its glass-like layer resists mold, mildew, bacteria, and environmental debris that can clog and corrode coils. This protection extends coil life and helps maintain better indoor air quality.


Why It Works—When Others Don’t
Most epoxy and polyurethane coil coatings are 4–8 mils thick and were never designed to improve efficiency. They can actually reduce heat exchange and airflow—doing more harm than good.

CoilSafe® Testing
ASTM B117 Salt Fog Test

This test replicates conditions of metal being placed in a sea air condition and determines resistance to corrosion in a coastal environment.
ASTM G85 Acidified Sea Water Test
4,000 Hrs. Completed
This test uses a sea water solution with acid added and submerges the coated metal into the solution to determine resistance to corrosion in a harsher environment. More aggressive test than B117.
ASTM G21 Fungal Growth Test
Zero Growth or Colonization
This test has a measured fungal growth placed on the coated sample, for a period of time, to determine if the coated surface will support fungal growth. Out sample had zero growth.
RoHS 2: Recasting 2002/95/EC
Heavy Metal/Toxicity Test
Passed for CoilSafe®, per European lab testing standards for building materials.
